I don't usually get choked up at celebrity deaths, but this one put a couple tears in my eye. I was looking forward to her turning 100 years old on January 17th. Such an amazing milestone in one's life that I hope to one day hit. RIP BETTY WHITE

Sorry for your losses also. Just buried a friend yesterday lost to Covid. Mom was a Big Blue diehard. She would be enjoying this run.

I will miss her. But at 99 she had such a full life.

When Robin Williams died I got quite choked up.

Glad when this year is over. Lost my dog, 2 close friends , and my Mom. Seems fitting to lose Betty White on the last day.
I’m sorry for your losses. I understand

Lost my my Mom in 2019.
Lost one of my mentors in 2019.
Lost a colleague in 2020 and another 2021. Lost the dog I shared with my Mom as I acted as her caregiver in June of 2021.

It’s been a rough couple of years. I hate it for you because I know how it feels. Hugs man.

Same. My Mom NEVER missed a game. I cried the first one she missed when she was in a coma. And I cried the first time I’m had to watch a game without her after she passed.

She would’ve love this team to death and would’ve been a HUGE Oscar fan. I can hear her now.

My mom lost a colleague while she wa teaching to a bad car wreck. Her friend was a mother too amazing kids and a wife too a great husband. My mom was a tough bird. First time I really saw her cry before my grandmother passed. One of my Moms favorite songs was “I hope you dance”. I almost played it at her funeral because after her friend died she said that’s how we should react to losses; it was her friend’s favorite song too. I just couldn’t do it though. But driving home today, it just happens to come on the radio. I lost it. I’ve been going through the throws of grief of losing them all over again after our dog had to be put down. I had to basically put down my mom too (her choice thank goodness). So it was a rehash.

But that song that I haven’t heard in years. It was a message. We’re going to be ok; we just have to give faith a fighting chance.

Hugs to you man.

It's been a rough year.Lost my niece and her husband both to covid and then had a friend get killed in auto accident before Christmas.I hope 2022 is much better for everybody.
I hate to hear that. Sorry for you losses.

It’s just been two or three years of hell for a lot of us. Our personal losses for sure. But then the hurt we felt as BBN , the passing of Lorenzen, the pandemic, last season watching our guys struggle, Robic losing his daughter, Terrence dying in that awful wreck, then the WKY tornadoes.

We just all need a breath.

I hope 2022 is better for all of us too.

Death is as natural as life. Especially when you are damn near 100. BW lived one heckuva life, brought a lot of happiness to people, and will be missed. We should all be so lucky.

She was an American icon.

I prefer to think of her not so much as passing away, but after 2020 and 2021 she just turned down the chance to appear in the sequel.

Some celebrity deaths hit harder than others. This one was a direct hit to the nuts.

RIP Betty White. We'll all miss you.

Just lost my 22 year old cousin who was an amazing guy. Finishing dental school, helps lead youth group at our church, and legitimately donated hours of his time each week to several causes. Never told anyone either, I know knew it because I was told about it at his funeral by the woman who runs the women’s shelter.

He died after falling asleep at the wheel while headed back to college. I feel ya, and I think 22 is going to be a good one. Live it to the fullest.

White will be missed but she lived a great life. Tough year for the Mary Tyler Moore show cast. White, Ed Asner, Gavin McCloud, Cloris Leachman. They all lived to be pretty old though except for Ted Knight.
