Just saw a preview for a movie about Nike's pursuit to sign Michael Jordan and the creation of the Air Jordan brand. Looks like it would be fun to watch. Unfortunately, it's got Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and it's Rated R, so it's gonna be loaded with language, likely F-bombs. Not sure why a movie about Nike signing Michael Jordan needs to be Rated R.

I checked IMDB and the rating is based on language. I can see where trying to ink a multi-million dollar contract
with a super star might get salty. This story revolves around the shoe salesman trying to make the Nike deal happen.

Well 2 guys from Boston that's kinda their staple. They do that so young kids will go see it and hopefully entice mature audiences as well. Will see if it goes Wolf of Wall street direction.

And...are you really concerned about language?

lol.. "rated R"... you mean like real people talk? Good Lord..

If the “real” people in your life talk like that, you have a sad life.

Profanity in those movies is obviously exaggerated, like everything else in movies. It’s so lame when people say “I know people who talk like that.” No you don’t.

Obviously, I don’t expect movies to reflect real life, but it’s not enjoyable for me when language is over-the-top exaggerated.
