OT: Did you ever really have a very good day?

I went to small claims court today. I had to evict a renter. They were 2 months behind and I followed the law to the tee.

Being the Perry Mason I am, I presented a short concise reason and facts that backed up my case. Lack of payment, unauthorized animal and junk in the yard. All in the contract I presented.

The defendants had no chance. They didn't know the pit bull was violent. We were saving our money to move out instead of paying rent. We didn't read the whole lease, even though they signed every page. The judge rolled his eyes on all of their defense............

They asked for 6 months to move...HUH?

The judge went full Judge Judy on them. Gave them four days to get the hell out. They were in shock!

It was a nice day................

I'm ez-pz these days to have a good day when the grandson is around. He came over for dinner w/ us on Thursday night. He's 14 mo's old. I grilled & served him up his first corn on the cob. It was pretty funny watching him learn & understand how to eat it. I showed him how to take a bite etc. He literally laughed, giggled, and amused himself while eating it. Truly a very cool classic moment in his learning process. I wish all of life was as good as those few minutes.
