Son 2 wants to drive my car to the office manana and it has 250 miles on it, still in break in. Yes or No?

Why doesn't he have his own car? My son is 17 and a junior in high school and already has his own.

Mine would not--but he's furry and only 8 lbs.

That said, when Mrs KG gets a new car, I probably will not be allowed to drive it at first.

I remember asking my father if I could borrow the car to go out on a date. He gave me the business asking all kinds of questions about who this girl was, where does she live, where are you going, etc. It was quite embarrassing.

But to your question.... I think it depends on how much confidence you have in your son.

Yo man, went to see one of my larger customers yesterday, a group of 40 plus NAPA auto parts stores. You best get out right now and buy all the spare parts you may need and brake pads as well. Pricing is about to go through the roof.

NWIH
I would take my chances behind the wheel blindfolded before that would happen. My son does have his own vehicle that we purchased for him. Nothing special and for good reason. One night he brought it back home with mud all over his tires. The RIGHT side tires. Let that sink in a minute.

ISWEEPS are on the list. Thanks for the pro tip. last big 2 are APEX wheels and AWE cat back. I was going to wait for their tax sales but maybe I should step now.

He sent a pic parked way out. Good son 2, well played. It was 30 degrees this am when I left, he was a few minutes behind me. Summer tires, 30 degrees could lead to heartbreak, but he made it.

How old is son 2? What type of car? My father let me drive our Porsche 911 Carrera to my high school my senior year... Needless to say I got a massive ticket for speeding on the way home racing my friends IROC-Z... Lost my license for 30 days. If he is responsible enough to take care of the care let him do it. If he still has some wildside to him I would wait.

He’s a grown asss man (so he tells us) at 27yo.
He made it, not a scratch

Why is a 27-year-old borrowing daddy's car to get to work? Where's his car? Didn't you just give him a car, and then sell it out from underneath him? None of this makes any sense. He's 27 ... he should have his own car, purchased with his own money, by now.

One of my buddies told me of a story of borrowing his dad's car. So, he takes the girl out, gets the car home clean and with gas. In the morning, they are getting ready for church, and the father asks him would he care to explain the footprints on the headliner above the backseat? LOL
Got an equally good one. A HS buddy of mine gets home from school and asks Mom if he can drive the family station wagon downtown to pick up a pizza for him and some friends at the house. Mom says ok but get home before Dad because he plans to use that car to pick up supplies for garden. Buddy drives downtown and in parking he hits the back bumper and tailgate on a telephone pole. He knows his butt is in trouble. Drives home with Pizza and he and his friends are downstairs eating pizza and discussing how to break the news to this guy's dad about the damage to the car, which was not extensive but noticeable.

Father gets home, unbeknownst the boys downstairs, he gets into the station wagon and drives to run errands. On way to his destination he is rearended by another driver. My buddy never did cop to his little accident.

My father had a customer in Texas that told him his son was allowed to drive the family Porsche around close locally to the house but no further than that. Father comes home from work and see's the Porsche in the garage looking like someone had taken a ball peen hammer to the car all over it. Asks the son what happened to the car and he says a hailstorm hit while he was driving it. The son was right but on the evening news that night as they watched talked about this large hail storm about 3 counties over and how it missed them locally... Needless to say he was grounded and not allowed to drive the car for a long time after that.

I’d love a 911 pic. This is what I truly wanted but moms wouldn’t roadtrip in it

One of my buddies double dated to a drive in movie in HS. He and his buddy were seniors and they took two freshman girls . As they approach the entrance they ask the girls to jump in the trunk . The one gal says I’m not jumping into the trunk . The movie stars deserve the money they make . I’m going to be a movie star someday. The guys of course laughed . The girl was Sharon Stone . 😂

Yes. The younger one is a better driver than me so it makes sense to have the person that's best to do that. My ex was the best cook, I was the best eater, etc. The older one drives too fast so I drive.
