you know it's funny you say that........ I have a doctor appointment Friday to check on a thing I have on my face that just popped out a few months ago!!!! to be honest with you yeah I'm very worried about it. but it is what it is I've had a good run, no matter what I'll be good to go either way! :cool:

LoL. It's true. It gets a little precarious around here when it rains. I have to take that Mailbu Canyon Rd in and out of the town, and I hear that one good rock slide can shut it down for weeks at a time. Boulders so big they have to dynamite them out and repair the road.

What's crazier than the weather affecting the roads is the everyday reality of your car simply going for a nose dive off the cliff. I still can't wrap my brain about why this is, but there are literally stretches of this canyon road that are sheer 1/4 mile dropoffs with only about 5 feet of shoulder and no retaining walls or security. I'm told people drive off these things several times a year <some intentional>. Heck, at one point there's even a sloped mound of earth that looks like a nice intentionally placed ramp where you could go full Dukes of Hazard right into the canyon.

I've been there, but obviously....haven't done that. ;) Beautiful area. Is Charlie Parker...I mean Sheen...a neighbor? ;)
