Hope he gets it done. It will be hard if he doesn't get his driver under control. If he's in the hunt still on number 17, there will be UK fans behind the tee as usual.

With the way he's chipping/putting could you imagine if he was hitting his driver straight with his distance

I'd like to see JB pull it out.. The course had some teeth for the afternoon wave today.

It's an exciting golf tournament to watch, so much water, and so many holes where a big score is in play. While the field consisted of every big name golfer, the top of the leaderboard features very few of them

Heading out there in a few hours. It poured late last night for a while , should soften things up today. Will be pulling for JB

Fell apart, hit a ball off of a lady's head on Mothers day and now some guy from South Korea is winning. I turned it off.

Understand that but it looked like today when things started going bad early his attitude was just screw it.

He hit a lady in the head and they had to bandage her up. If you've ever seen players do that, it screws them up pretty bad. He even looked up at the sky and grimmaced. I'm not defending him, but to say he said "screw it" is a stretch.

84 ... worst score of his pro career?

He had it coming. He was all over the place for 3 days and got away with it by putting and chipping out of his mind. Not so, today. Almost every player plays one bad round out of 4 in every tournament, but never in the mid 80's. He said it was just another round of golf, but he clearly wanted it too bad. When a pro shoots a high score in a final round, they tried too hard.

Or they just gave up.

OP, this is what happens when you start a non-basketball thread on Rafters. Mods, please ban.

Mods, please perma-ban the OP for jinxing a former Wildcat and causing him to fall apart in the final round.

TIA

JB went from-9 to +3 on the Final Day. That's more than just the swing.

I know that pros will go crazy thinking about the money, but if he had even shot 73 yesterday, he finishes 2nd by himself, a $1M payday. Instead, he pocketed $36K.

John is my favorite player on the tour, but he has to start playing better when he's in contention on Sunday.
