There were those who were high on Amaker when he started taking the Crimson to the NCAAs.

Wasn't as impressed as Amaker had some built in advantages at the time (Harvard improving facilities and making it easier for Amaker to recruit).

But after taking HU to NCAAs 4 yrs in a row, Amaker has missed the Tourney the following 3 yrs.

I'm sure they'll make the Tourney again, but it won't be the domination that some were expecting.

Kind of surprising, given that his recruiting picked up and he landed kids no other Ivy school could touch. Had two 4*'s in 2016.

His Seton Hall tenure had a similar arc. He recruited well and took the team to the NCAA early in his tenure and then things went south. I just don’t think he is a very good coach
