True story: I happen to like to sip on an unsweetened powder drink. Raspberry is my favorite and my wife mixes it and keeps it in the fridge.
Last week I poured me a generous amount and drank half a drink before I decided it was terrible. I asked my wife what she had done wrong. She told me I was drinking a pre-mix hummingbird concoction she had purchased at Wal Mart. What it was doing in the refrig beats me.
It was the first time I had seen her belly laugh since her son was murdered. It was worth it to me...
Got some feeders out and I've noticed when they're active, a bunch of hummingbirds sounds just like a squadron of radio controlled helicopters.
It's pretty cool...

I've got two males and two female Ruby Throated Hummers fighting over my feeder. I made an up-close video on my iPhone using slo-mo. Their wings are still fast when slowed down 5 times. Amazing critters.
