If the Colts job opens everyone worth their salt will be going after it...they have Andrew Luck....Franchise QB in a passing league.

Those guys are the Mildcats' fall back guys. They are said to be wooing Pete Carroll.

I can't remember squat anymore, but isn't Pete Carroll about the only successful college coach to be successful in the NFL?

No way Saban goes there. Having Luck is nice, but working for that drug addict Irsay is, uh, problematic. Besides, the team has a lot of holes to fill.

Agreed, Saban is also making the NFL money were he's at, if he was gonna leave think it would have been for Texas

Jimmy Johnson won 2 super bowls and Barry Switzer won 1. They along with Carroll are the only college coaches to win a SB.

Jimmy Johnson went Back to Back...92-93 Season and 93-94 Season...Switzer won in 95-96.

Also Adam Schefter reported this morning he did not feel Saban will go anywhere...most in the league are waiting on what happens with Sean Payton and the Saints

To add to the list of successful transitions, there is Bill Walsh.

Having said that, CBS Sports just sent out a breaking news that the Colts and Pagano have reached an agreement on an extension. With the passing of Al Davis, Jim Irsay may be the weirdest NFL owner now.

To me it was crazy to even think about firing the guy. He has a career record of 40-23. And this season the injury to Andrew Luck pretty much screwed them from the word go.

I was a big time Colts fan....then Irsay did the dirty deed to Peyton Manning. Dirty hypocrite. I hope Luck gets well fast or Irsay will move on again. He was allowed time to heal from his drinking and intoxicated self????
