Wow. Just insane. Bad combo of missed FTs by NM, and just out of their mind 3 point shooting by NV. Never seen anything like it.

This was a bit like that Chicago State 3-point fest, right? Where prayers were being answered from every possible angle? But this sequence is much more shocking. How many FTs did NM miss during that sequence?

I happened to turn this on before bed the other night and caught it live. Pure sports joy. Good for Nevada, which had never won in the Pit.

We gave up 14 in 1 minute 40 to Nebraska at the end of the 1 half the other day. 14-0 run took us from being up 10 to down 4 going into half. Not quite as good as the 6 straight 3s in that last minute 10 but not all the 14 pts scored by Neb were 3s either

Despite all the amazing 3s, if New Mexico makes their FTs, they win. We have been much better from the line this year and that will need to continue if we want to be able to close out all the close games we are likely to play.

FTs are the biggest surprise to me. NU has become an excellent FT shooting team. They must ave really focussed on this in the off season.
