Still feels surreal typing that. But my wife and I are expecting TWINS in a couple of months. A boy and a girl. We're so excited, but obviously super nervous for all of it. We'll have plenty of help as both of our families live very close, and both mine and my wife's parents will be first time grandparents, so they are ready and eager to help. I know there are a lot of Dads on here, but does anybody else have twins? Any advice on raising twins, or on fatherhood in general, is much appreciated!!

Thats great news. Congrats on the twins. Twins huh. That's awesome. One of each. Whatever it takes stay close to these and any other children you may have. They are grown and gone before you know it. OFC

And it will fly by so enjoy every minute you can. I cant believe my oldest is 16 already. I can still vividly remember dodging piss streams when I would change his diapers. Rascal tried his dang best to piss on me.

Congrats. We are expecting our second son in a few months. Make sure you have an external hard drive for all the pictures and videos. Consider taking a picture of each of them every week for the first x number of years so you can do a video showing the changes as they get older. If you have a Mac, the photos program will help you do it.

I'm all about my own routine, so my goal is to get them both on the same one as well! How old are your twins now?

Congrats!

I've learned from experience that every kid is different and that girls and boys have legit differences. Where those differences are straight-up biological, honor them. Where those differences are socialized, question them. Sometimes the answer you find will be to go along with it, but doing so consciously after truly inspecting it makes that a more confident, wise decision.

When people compliment your son for being tough or strong, assert that he is also kind and compassionate (and raise him to be that way). When people compliment your daughter for being pretty or sweet, assert that she is also smart and courageous (and raise her to be that way).
