Does anyone here speak jive?

EDIT: OK, I Googled 4-20. I didn't know anything about it. Apparently not something they talk about in the news outlets I frequent. I haven't been "cool" in 4 decades.

Yeah, a little light background.
In the seventies, some of the kids at San Rafael High school in Marin County, California coined the phrase 4:20, the time in the afternoon they'd meet at the Louis Pasteur statue and indulge in the ganga.
It caught on, especially with the Grateful Dead types back then.
Eventually it went worldwide and there ya go. (a phenom, like, Eskimo Joes)

See, this board, entertaining and educational.

fitz what's up with the fishy partner, a tide fan or a hog ? You should be ashamed, running with that. (Can't tell with this glaucoma like haze over the eyes...)

Well, Bama fan, then I cast my gaze down to that little impish face and those fun hugs and I've got to give her a pass. RTR.

When I filled out my employment papers here in California, they looked like any other employment papers I'd ever filled out except one part.

After the classic question of have you ever been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor resulting in prison time, yadda, yadda, yadda there was an *
The asterisk? "Except any judgments as the result of a marijuana conviction."

Your marijuana pasts have been pardoned in California.

Yep, I worked for this *** hat back in the 90s.
Every time there was a big rock and roll show in the area he'd 'randomly' pick some of the known loadies for a urinalysis. I was taking a sabbatical from the stuff so he never nailed me.

If he'd been testing for Jack Daniels, I'd have been toast.
