Time to give thanks for the child tax credit, especially since we added another to the herd last year.

Oh, those were the days..... My second credit 'aged out' a couple of years ago.

I got started late in life. My oldest is 5 and youngest isn't yet 1, so I'll be getting at least one credit into my early 60s haha.

What I don't understand is why my taxes are higher for not having kids. Y'all will have kids to take care of you when you're old, I'm going to need my money. I'm going to have to pay someone to come change my diaper.

But those kids burn through a whole lot of our money over 18yrs (that you will be able to save). ;)

(Not saying that's *the* answer, or the right answer, but it's *an* answer. :))
