OT: Izzo and son

The Athletic has a nice piece about Izzo and his adopted son, who (miraculously) scored his first MSU points last month. Watched the moment on Youtube...the bench and the crowd were ecstatic.

Have always liked the way Izzo carries himself, and more than ever after reading the story. (Here's the link, but probably paywalled.)

Some perspective from a Free Press story: Prior to Sunday's game, Izzo had gone scoreless in 43 appearances for the Spartans, missing all 13 shots he'd attempted while racking up seven fouls and five turnovers against just three assists

I agree that Izzo’s been a class act and am happy for his son.

Really touching story. I’m glad Steven is on a path toward peace.

Tom’s a good man. Very supportive of players and coaches in Michigan.
