He was WIS back when local stations were actually relevant.
Bigger than life character. Almost too big at times.

Craig Melvin, who is at NBC and, worked with Joe when he was at WIS, said he spoke with him a few weeks ago. He said he wasn't surprised that Joe was ready to leave to be with his wife "Ms. Peggy", who died 2 years ago this month.
