My man James white was a beast, and pretty over looked tonight in the big pic.

What a post game scene with Kraft/Goddell, wow!!

Hate Brady dislike Belichek, but there is no question that they are respectively the best. Insurmountable odds, watching the Falcons and their coaches crumble under the pressure, they hung number 5. Congrats to them, Im ill.

2nd and 1 & 3rd and 12 inside field goal range how do you not run the ball and just kick the field goal to win the game? Instead the Falcons tried to pass, took a sack and some penalties and then it's 4th and 33. Shanahan is going to be kicking himself over that one.

I agree 237%. Shanahan got cute with the play calling and paid the price in the worst way possible. The bad simply outweighs the good, passing the ball in that situation. He must not have been paying attention in 2015 when Seattle tried passing while needing to pick up a couple yards, with a Super Bowl in the balance.
On a side note...
It seems over the past 2-3 years when I have engaged in the question of who is the greatest quarterback of all time, I have grasped at the smallest of threads and gave the nod to Montana. I think part of the reason I answered Montana was because I grew up in the Montana era, and was hanging on to a piece of my childhood. I am now relieved that I no longer have to search around for reasons or some silly stat to back my answer. Tom Brady is the GOAT, and it has been an honor to have watched him climb to the top.

Even though you have slipped to the 2nd spot on my list Joe, if a backyard game breaks out and we need a score... Sprint right option will be the play, and I'll still yell "Montana" as I release the ball!

Yep, Tom and Bill are the best ever. I just never understood the spy gate and deflate mess. I don't care for either one, but they both should go down as the G.O.A.T. However, Atlanta just pissed that game away.
Sometimes you need to go to stall ball.

Or at least run off all the time on your play clock. SMH at Matt Ryan snapping the ball early.

That's what got me. They were snapping the ball with 15 seconds on the play clock in the 4th quarter. I didn't understand that.

I had a feeling it was going to end the way it was when the Falcons couldn't manage to hold the ball on offense in the second half of the 3rd quarter. It got worse in the 4th quarter. That defense must have been gassed.

The sack Ryan took on that short yardage situation was the clincher. I was trying to figure out why they didn't just hand it off to Freeman.

The falcons got arrogant and thought "they can't stop our passing attack"

Had they made a field goal at the end they would have won.

Atlanta's offense - It was the basketball equivalent of going from dominating inside ( running) with the occasional 3 ( long passes) to jacking up 3 pointers on ever possession after 10 seconds on the shot clock and missing...nothing good comes from this as we know! The other team gets a foothold and sniffs a comeback and once old MO has left you its tough to get it back! Great game for the neutral and cements Brady's legacy as the GOAT....now retire!

That game was simply meant to be for Patriots. Whats the likelihood of getting two each two point conversions and the circus catch Edelman made. Tom Brady just played a near perfect 2nd half and he couldn't be stopped.

Astounding game. Hard to express in words a game that great. I've seen every SB except the first two, and every team that got down by more than 10 points, simply folded under the enormous pressure and weight of the game. And, what made the Pats even more impressive is that this wasn't just any SB victory - it was for the ages for Brady and Belichick. Yet, they kept their cool and just kept playing and working like they do every game.

I am a long time Dolphins fan and used to hate Brady and Belichick. But, I have come to admire them simply because they are so great at what they do and they know how to win as well as any QB or coach in NFL history. I have to admit, imo, they are the all-time best QB and Coach (may be some debate with Lombardi and Belichick, but can't say Vince was better). 7 SBs, 5 Titles. Just can't debate that.
