Doing a little weekend trip tomorrow and was thinking of trying to stop somewhere for lunch from about white marsh, MD to Downington PA (so 95 corridor area) any hidden gems on that route? Doesn't need to be fancy, but ideally not too far out of the way 20-30 minutes tops.

Chaps roast beef, a Maryland thing, pretty good stuff. If you cant find a good out to the way crab cake joint, which are always iffy, try this.

The Granite Run Mall is still open? I thought they were putting up townhouses there but I haven’t been down there in awhile. I try to avoid that part of route 1
Check out the Classic Diner in West Chester, or Ship Inn in Exton or Black Powder Tavern in Valley Forge.
Iron Hill Brewery. There are several in the area (Exton, Phoenixville…West Chester is my favorite), but there’s one right off the highway in Wilmington.
This place is awesome and is in Wayne (radnor township) it’s right off 476 if you take the Villanova exit. Highly recommend.
Also, this might be slightly out of the way but we like it here, probably depends on the weather but when outdoor seating is available it’s great. They have games and all kinds of stuff if that’s what interests you. I think it’s great for all ages and is relatively new. Right off 76 if you are going west bound from Philly.
