Controversial, but the single greatest scene from the best TV show ever is from The Bells (GoT) when Dany loses her sh*t.

Second is Don Draper’s Kodak ‘Carousel’ pitch.

Third might be Peggy’s destruction of Pete (also ‘Mad Men’ but have to find).

If you're going with MASH the scene of Blake's death being announced in the operating room was the top scene from that show, imo.
Watched a MASH tribute where the cast was telling stories of life around the show.
Thought it was Alan Alda who said the ending was unrehearsed and the only cast member who knew the ending was Radar.
They then filmed the final scene again.
I agree, a great episode.

Love the Mad Men scene, but disagree so wildly about the GoT scene. That scene and what followed are what took that show from the greatest ever and instead made it a show that was as good as any there’s ever been, but then collapsed over the final season, leaving such a bad taste that it’s not even in the conversation anymore. If Dany were going to turn the way she did, the show needed to be 2-3 seasons longer. The speed at which everything happened the last 2 seasons just to wrap it up ruined it, including this scene where Dany snapped, which just made no sense to me at that point in the show.

To me, the worse crime is Bran ending up on the throne. I do agree the rushed nature of Dany’s ‘turn’ was very off putting and definitely needed more time to happen more naturally, but they didn’t have it and it was going to happen anyway. Still - that’s a blockbuster quality scene that cost more than most tv shows yearly budget. I’ve had enough distance where I can enjoy GoT without fretting much.

As far as big budget scenes in the final season, the white Walker final battle was my preference. Loved that episode.
