...rightfully so. It's off-leash, awesome, and the humans do a great job of cleaning up after the dogs.
OT: My beach named best dog beach in the country for the 2nd year in a row...

Dewey Beach, DE is mega dog-friendly.
Local community is pushing to get a dog beach here. Problem is always a number of people refuse to clean up after their dog. I watched a guy the other day around 5:30pm have his dog on the beach here (which he was already breaking the law) watch his dog run out of the ocean up on the sand and take a huge dump. I was watching to see what he did, he just looked at me shrugged his shoulders and covered up the dump with mounds of sand with his foot. I said to him don't you carry waste bags his response was nah.... and walked off. Drives everyone nuts when you have people like him that ruin it for everyone with dogs.
