As a Cowboys fan I like it. If somehow Randy Gregory could lay off the weed, that gives us 3 damn good pass rushers with the addition of Charlton. DB's become instantly better with a better pass rush. With that said, gotta go CB or S with the next pick imo.

Extremely deep DB class this year. Also, there have been some whispers about a Richard Sherman trade. Shhhhhh
We need a secondary for sure. I'm ok with the first round pick as long as he is used as a slot receiver for Newton given if Newton can improve on his throwing.
newton needs to get back to his 2015 form. I don't know where his head was , a lot, this past season, but it was not in the game. I still feel like the Denver game, where he took all those hits to the head, might have set the tone for the season. I really hope that this year they will do more to protect the QB's from those type of hits. Thought they were supposed to before now.

I've never been high on Newton. His line gave up on him a lot last season. Now they signed some youth and strength to help protect him but his predicatability was horrible. Plus teams wanted him to throw it especially when the run game wasn't working.
I'm a Redskins and Panthers fan too. I grew up a Redskins fan and became a Panthers fan when they became an expansion team. It looks like the Redskins have 2 more picks left in the 7th round and the Panthers have 1 more pick left in the 7th round.
I don't like the cook pick I think he runs to straight up with no side to side elusiveness ... yea he can run sideline to sideline in college but the NFL is way faster....there's a reason he fell and i don't think it's off the field stuff like some say ...not to mention his injuries .fumbles bad pass protection ...drops...and the big he plays for FSU.. just looks stiff to me ...inconsistent ...he just I guess reminds me of Murray cowboys ...straight line guy....I don't know where I stand on that pick ...I like the center pick, Bucky Hodges's , and Adams . The rest I'm not sure we'll see I guess ..I would have took mixon there if I wanted a rb that is..surprisingly we took no Qb..guess we'll bring one in FA ..or kicker ...what get me is ur facing off the field issues and questions anyway with cook,why not take the better back in mixon ..makes this very interesting given we traded up wit bengals took cook and they took mixon .somebodys going to look really smart and dumb
