@Styre , what’s the deal with CBS broadcasting today’s NFC matchup between Minnesota and Detroit?

Also, what have I don’t wrong that that’s my only 1pm option? Yeesh.

Back in 2014, the NFL introduced "cross-flexing," where CBS and FOX each get to broadcast a few games that would previously have been reserved for the other network. I think there are about 12 games like that for each network.

I believe this was done in large part for CBS's benefit, because the more popular teams are largely in the NFC.

And sometimes you cross-flex into Lions-Vikings

and sometimes the schedule is loaded with one particular conference on the road, so one of the networks needs games
