OT: November ‘78 at McGaw Hall?

Just heard on XRT’s Saturday Morning Flashback that the Boss played McGaw Hall in November of ‘78. I was a bit young at that point, but know this would have been on his Darkness on the Edge of Town tour and first album/ tour post long legal wrangling with his former manager.

Anyone here on the board catch him at this show? How was attendance? Would have loved to have seen some of his smaller venue shows of the 70’s.

I was there and it was fantastic. Typical Springsteen — incredible energy and stamina. Full house that rocked.

I was there in 1961 when Ray Charles played McGaw Hall at Homecoming. Had a nice chat with him backstage. Wonderful experience.

Saw Dylan there in 91...WORST concert ever,,,,Yikes....like most Dylan concerts...no idea what song he was playing, old men in purple blazers looking like they were waiting for the revolution to start...and they were going to stop it!...

I saw REM there in May of 1985. Third row on the floor. Not a terrible place to see a show.
