I have no problem with it; Dershowitz explained it last night. It was a 'trumped up' incident, assualt & 'kidnapping' attempt between 'friends' attempting to take his property; not related to the two murders he skated on. He'll either be imprisoned again or be eternally judged, eventually and burn in hell.
Maybe espin will employ him to do local color for u$c ?

Well iasooner not attempting to get into a religious conversation, but whether he ends up in hell or heaven isn't up to us nor do we know what's in his heart. Hopefully he is a different man today

wonder if Dershowitz explained his whole role in helping OJ skate

Yes he did; mentioned the State screwed themselves from the start by trying him downtown, with a heavily slanted black, female jury instead of in the burbs. Plus the unnecessary use of Darden and allowing the testimony of Fuhrman and the bungled glove demonstration, etc.

Guess he left out the part about the defense focusing on race and that idiotic police planting nonsense. Glad im not in Oklahoma right now........I hear its hot!

I have a huge problem with it. That guilty worthless son of a ***** gets 3 million dollars in NFL retirement money that the Goldman's can't touch. So now he goes to Florida and lives the life of a millionaire. I hope some one blows his ******* head off. Please hire a hit man Mr. Goldman.

No doubt he deserves it. I should have worded my original statement differently; I should have stated: I 'understand' the decision today. No doubt he's a narcissist psychopath and we don't need anymore of those in this nation.

Thanks for your insightful and always concise, respectful opinion sir; he's been this way since abusing women at $c or before and is lucky to ever see the light of day, unlike his former wife & her boyfriend.

Had Simpson been found guilty in 1994, there would have been riots and looting in many US cities....and lives lost.

His NFL pension is $300k a year so he will have to live 10 more years to get $3M. On the other hand, if the SOB lives till 90, he will get $6M.....plus Social Security and Medicare for every year he lives. He paid into the system so he deserves it, but there will be no reason for him to put himself out there except that he WANTS the attention.

ctokie........not quite understanding your point on this one sir. Surely you aren't saying it was a good thing he was found not guilty because idiots would have rioted? I'm probably reading into your comment

Simple statement, and I'm not saying it was good that he wasn't found guilty for butchering two people. All I'm saying is that there would have been a backlash of violence had Simpson been found guilty. Isn't that obvious ?

I wonder if he will resume his search for the real killer?
The prosecutor, Gil Garcetti, lost the case when the trial was moved and that jury was selected. Dumbest jury ever. They would not have found OJ guilty under any circumstances.

What did the people of LA do to Garcetti for his blunder? Elected him mayor. Now his son is mayor.

I spewed my iced tea when Simpson said that he has lived a conflict free life. Oh, and "no one has ever accused me of pulling a weapon on them". Hey, Juice, that's because they couldn't. You murdered them. Fricking, Jackwagon.

Oh no doubt there would have been. I've never understood the reasoning of burning down your own neighborhood.

Neither have I, but it seems to be the trendy thing to do these days....you know....when your candidate loses an election or your NBA team wins a championship or a verdict is not accepted. It's a sure-fire (no pun intended) way to have people support you cause.

Actually I think burning down your own neighborhood has been going on since the 60's.

Well, I hate the bastard. Always have. It didn't take his trial to go down for me to dislike the fool. He's a smug, rich, & punkish, ex NFL player that has always gotten what he wants. Having said that, he is also friggin' innocent in a criminal court of law. Sure he hired a top list of who's who in regards to attorneys. Good for him. I don't fault him for that. If any of us needed representation, we'd hire the best that our money could buy! The fact is, the State of California threw everything they possibly could at him and failed. So what happened? He's set up and then locked up in another case. It just shows all of us that our justice system can be corrupted badly. There is no telling how many innocent people have been washed up, locked up and put away by corrupt judges.

I don't like the asshat, but I have no issue with him walking either.

Question I have had about the so-called "trial" in 1994: when Simpson was trying on the gloves that seemingly were too small for his hand, why was he wearing white gloves underneath the gloves in question ? Didn't the white gloves make it difficult to put on an outer pair of gloves ?
This event was and still is a pathetic sham....a trial lost by a weak prosecution team and by the race card that was played.
Vincent Bugliosi, who prosecuted Manson, said he could have convicted Simpson with just a note pad and a pen.

I can't remember CT, but I imagine it had something to do with damaging the evidence etc. I'm shocked that the judge allowed Simpson to attempt to try it on.

You give me a leather glove that's been wet w/ water and/or blood, then allowed to dry, I can make it look like the glove doesn't fit either as it becomes stiff, mis-sharped and hardened.

He wore white gloves to protect the integrity of the gloves. It was brought up many times that this, along with shrinkage, made the gloves not fit. Nobody could have convicted OJ in that case with that jury. It was a verdict dipped in supposed racial inequality.

Not to mention how the defense got away with changing the entire character of his home and bussed (stereotypically) the entire sham through it in the burbs as if where and how he lived had anything to do with the case

You mean the cashmere-lined Aris Light gloves that Bloomingdale's only sold 200 of in the U.S., two of which Nicole Brown purchased in size extra large for her husband, O.J.?

The same extra-large gloves that prosecutors showed O.J. clearly wearing in several photographs?

Yeah, the killer just happened to be one of the other few people that purchased one of the 200 pair in extra-large.

I guess birds of a feather do flock together.

I think the jury slept through that part. They probably couldn't care less about the evidence because their minds were already made up.

Anyone who has any doubts about OJ's guilt should read Bugliosi's book, Outrage.

It is always worth remembering what Jay Leno said after the jury found in favor of the Goldmans in OJ's civil suit, about how it was heartening to find out that murder actually still was against the law in California.

Agree....and like I said, as soon as Cochran whipped out the race card the trial was over.

Ding ding ding we have a winner!
The case was all about race and once it came out Furman used the N word it was full steam ahead for the defense to claim the LAPD was trying to railroad OJ because he was black. If not for Rodney King and the riots OJ would have been convicted of killing Nicole and Ron.

Worse than a murderer; he could have a lead role in ISIS if he decided to swing his big knife that way

I will never understand those who so easily gloss over the murder of innocents. One of the innocents being his wife. Anyone with half a brain knows OJ got off scott free of a double homicide. Plus this guy has a history of violence after the double homicide. He is scum.

Agree. And most people assume Goldman was her boyfriend and they were together. Damn kid was just a waiter at her favorite restaurant. She had left behind something like her sunglasses or something, and he knew where she lived from being a regular at the restaurant and was just returning them to her. He likely caught OJ killing her and unsuccessfully fought him.

One of the images ingrained in my memory is watching people on TV when he was found not guilty, they cheered like he had just scored another TD. Disgusting.

Roy I think you misinterpreted what I posted. I think he is guilty of murder, I'm simply stating it's not up to us on where he ends up once he leaves this Earth. That's in Gods hands
