We have a lot of interesting people here. I see some folks that are kind and nice. I see some folks who are combative and mean, a some in between. It got me wondering if your online personality matches your in person peronality.

I'd say I'm pretty much the same except in person, I curse a lot. Whereas I don't on here for obvious reasons. I'm not combative in either realm. I let people think what they want.

I try to be in real life like I try to be here, someone who is careful with his words as if they are recorded for all posterity. Having said that, I can sometimes put on a real big mad where my words and actions are regrettable. Do and speak to one another as you wish to be treated.

Mostly the same. I probably let myself be a little bit more snippy online, but, it's rare. Except on X. Too many numpties over there to be straight up nice. You'll get walked all over.

Here, most of the board (especially basketball side) is pretty chill, albeit passionate. Football side, eehh.....

I have a belief that if you are not willing to say something in person, then you should not post it online. I try to be consistent online as I am in real life. I'm sure there are times where that's not true. Sometimes, I might be reacting to someone who is NOT acting the way that they would online, so our conversations might be different in real life.

I'm pretty much the same. I don't post a whole lot, and I don't talk a whole lot. I don't like to argue or get into online battles. I usually take a beat or two before responding in both worlds. But don't take this to mean I have no fire or passion. I love my Wildcats, and I hate college refs! [laughing]

I try to be the same. Rarely, I'm a jerk n real life and sometimes on here. I like that we can all passionately talk sports and sometimes agree to disagree on things. It would be boring if we didnt disagree or have various takes.

In real life I'm a mild mannered Cloud engineer that WFH aka I spend my days here. I'm a girl dad and they get most of my time and energy.

The biggest difference is I get way more redass watching our games then what I post here, even during the game threads. I go threw the rollercoaster of this is the worst team ever and Pope should be ran out of town, to we are great and Pope is a genius during the average game.

I'm an ******* in both worlds 😂

Yeah I'd say I'm the same. I don't mince words and am just as sarcastic. I'm a ball buster, but I'm welcoming and don't mind laughing at my own expense. People seem to gravitate to me in real life. I've been told that I "have a face/persona that makes randoms want to come up and tell me their life story" lol.

I think I'd quickly become a ring leader for some of the more... unsavory Rafter's residents lol.

I could also see people not liking my loud and "New York" personality, though..

This is how I see myself. One reason I don't participate in the in-game threads much; I don't want to say something in the heat of the moment that I'll regret immediately upon hitting 'post'

Only Dog's get "mad"..... OH. you're a dog!!!

Mad it up.... 😁 🪠
Actually I'm a pussycat who just looks mean when I get mad. It's the pupils; mine dilate when I'm mad and the black eyes have scared some people. I've never seen it myself but I had a girlfriend whose eyes did the same thing and it made you think you were in a horror movie.

I’m the same, laid back and I don’t talk much or post much. It’s like I’m not even there

My online persona is a little more outspoken than my real persona, which makes sense because I am an introvert who is much better at communicating through writing than verbally.

I’m one of those people who if I am in a large group of strangers in person, I might say 4 words. If I am where I know everyone, I won’t stop talking.

On the flipside, I have a potty mouth and use the f word as punctuation in real life. I try to rein that in here. Lol.

I am very much like Cool Hand Luke.

I don't like being told what to do.

I am very independent.

I can eat 50 eggs.

I don't have to be in charge except of myself.

My longtime boss once introduced himself as having 40 employees and me. He said I'm the boss of 40 of you guys and the nail is his own boss. That's not as bad as it sounds as I was often way ahead of the curve. Or thought I was.

When I became a boss, I was amazed at how many employees I had that needed daily direction even after 30 years. I would allow a lot of freedom and you needed to be creative and do things on your own. I had employees that wanted me to tell them what to do daily. These are professional people. I guess I don't understand all the personality types but that was just so weird to my personality to deal with betas. Somebody wanted micromanagement. Grow a pair.

The majority of people who really know me will tell you that I'm a kind, helpful, funny and friendly guy. There is a small percentage of people who will tell you that I'm a rude/arrogant/smug/prick/*******. Ironically, both groups of those people are right.

I'm pretty quiet and reserved in real life. Especially now that I'm sober. But, I curse like a seasoned Marine. I try to play nice on here, but will dig in pretty quick if someone gets unjustifiably snippy.

What kind of imbecile wants to be micromanaged?

It’s got to be the types who let their significant others dress them. Lol.
One employee, and I had a small group, complained to my boss that I was not hands on enough with telling him what to do. He had almost 40 years experience.

I work with a whole bunch of imbeciles that love being micromanaged. At our work they stand around the production lines watching everyone, or stand out there waiting for people to get back from break. They even track people going to the restroom. People are so controlled that they leave early from their breaks to get back to the floor. Today after the company "end of year" employee meal they had multiple head haunchos give speeches about "meeting our numbers", making sure to let everyone know that they expect more in 2025. Kind of ruins the taste of that cheesecake.
