I was at two OzzFests many moons ago. One at Montage Mountain now Toyota Pavilion the other Camden NJ. Both were great. One at montage had Manson, Korn, other good bands.

I remember thinking even back then, they show a home video of Ozzy he could barley walk, but on stage he's jumping all over the place...lol. Well not this last one.

God bless him. Probably a top five hard/rock metal singer of all time.

I saw Black Sabbath in 1982 at the Garden but Ozzy was not the singer. I’m not 100% sure but I think Randy Rhodes was playing lead guitar.

Unless something was very out of the ordinary that would have been Tony Iommi. Unless Tony was sick or something. Randy never played with sabbath.

how was it?

The singer was likely Ronnie James Dio. The one constant with Black Sabbath was Tony Iommi, He was the only one to be on every Sabbath album, some of which were virtually solo projects but called Black Sabbath albums to fulfill contractual obligations.

I'm so thankful I saw their last tour, 3/4 of Sabbath. Good enough these days. Sorry Bill. ******' Snowblind!

Long Live Black Sabbath. Long Live Swirl Life.

I was 18 and you’re most likely correct. For some reason I thought Randy Rhodes was the lead guitarist. It was a great show. The music was purely hard rock and for two hours they did not disappoint.

I mean it was his call, but some things really don’t need to be done IMO.

When I see stuff like this it reminds of that formaldehyde-preserved frog on the dissection tray in 8th grade as the science teacher hits it with the electrodes to make it look alive.
