Yep, always liked his in your face, 'Rebel' without a cause style.

Also, that he got a check from the NCAA for 2.5 mil is just the best.
He was the man!

I actually forgot about his lawsuit that won against the NCAA. NCAA spends years trying to take the Tark down, and in the meantime North Carolina is cheating like crazy.

Used to love watching him chew on his towel as he paced up and down by the bench...he had said athletic, talented teams at UNLV. They played OU one year in Norman, maybe around '86 or '87 and broke our long LNC record for wins against non-conference opponents - a fantastic game decided by one or two points...I believe it was before the OU-Kansas '88 Championship game occurred.
