Pirate legend Dave Parker has passed. Supposed to be inducted to Cooperstown in a few weeks, sad.

.......nor block home plate when he was trying to score.
Always enjoyed Parker. He got screwed out of the ‘85 MVP award (.312, 34 HR, 125 RBI).
As a Phillies fan, I always had mad respect for his game. What a magnificent player and I thought it was the perfect symmetry for him to be inducted with Allen this year. I would have thought that each would have spoken highly of the other. Now they will both be represented by someone else which is a crying shame. RIP to the Cobra and condolences to his family, teammates, and all Bucs fans.
