No, use a big name like fidelity or td. Trades are free and your orders will get filled better

Just now learning how the whole thing works but purchased and sold a couple. The friend that showed me has been using it for awhile and has a nice little amount.

Can you do it online or through app?

you can do it online or through apps. Personally I like Fidelity’s user interface. Allow me to send you. Referral if you choose to switch. Also Robin Hood’s customer service is garbage. I opened an Account with them awhile back never got my free stock:(

Iolivia, you seemed in tune to stocks. I checked into td ameirtrade when their online service went to free trades but the only thing that puzzled me was the amount you had to have in your account to get offered it. Do you know if they changed it to a lower amount?

I’m not exactly sure man. I have a td Account but switched to fidelity about two years ago. Couple of months back my trades became free, I didn’t even know until last month lol. I like them both though I don’t think you can go wrong with either. My suggestion is to call and ask. Both customer services are super helpful and will even answer your “ I think this is a dumb question” without making you feel dumb

Yo @Dad2ze send me a message or text me. I use Schwab but there are many good brokers out there as mentioned above. Really you gotta find something you’re comfortable with. That’s key.

I’ll text you after practices today. Robinhood was super easy. Made a few bucks already selling what I had when it skyrocketed. I just wanna learn more.

I dabble in trading options on robinhood and td ameritrade. I wouldn’t put a lot of money in robinhood as I’ve had there system crash during the day and you couldn’t get out of trades which really sucks if you trade options. I’m Not sure if it happens with others but just be cautious with it if you get into option trading.

if you are into technical analysis and all that jazz, people love think or swim tool that used to come with td ameritrade account not sure if it still does or not? Also I think Schwab is in the process of buying td ameritrade.

good luck!
