If you are able to get Apple TV, then you may want to check out Severance. Directed by Ben Stiller, it is a chilling dystopian portrayal of corporations, work life, and home life. The premise is a mysterious company hiring folks and having the employees agree to be “severed”, a neurological procedure where you have a separate work and home life, you don’t remember work when you leave the office and you don’t remember home life when you enter the office. It is a truly creepy concept and well acted with Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturo, and Christopher Walken.

Scary premise, but not that far fetched. Reminds me of the stepford wives.

Great recap Rude. I love this show. And the opening credit sequence is remarkable.

You can also download a free book on Apple Books that is an exchange of emails between a severed person and a journalist as well as the Macrodata Refiners Handbook
