Huge part for my childhood. Loved to watch Full House and America’s Funniest Videos.
This year is off to a horrible start.

Really? Hence the OT tag.Did he play basketball?
He was like 8 feet tall. Though maybe he hooped and I didn’t know.Really? Hence the OT tag.
Huge part of American television.
Sucks dude. Part of growing up and getting older, but to see these larger than life kinda people pass on is really humbling.First Norm and now Bob. Damn. Two legends. RIP.
Sorry. Didn’t mean to react so sharply. I loved Bob. Lots of good memories on Friday nights. He was like 8 feet tall. Though maybe he hooped and I didn’t know.
Said nobody ever..Probably a little bit too much cocaine
I swear it was an honest question. I looked it up he was 6’4. I thought he was taller.Sorry. Didn’t mean to react so sharply. I loved Bob. Lots of good memories on Friday nights.
Got that right. Over the last few years I discovered what a comedic genius Norm was. He’s my all times favorite comic. After he passed, I watched Bob’s tribute to him and realized what a good man Saget was. Never watched his comedy really, just Full House and AFV. May have to check some of it out now. Definitely sucks.Sucks dude. Part of growing up and getting older, but to see these larger than life kinda people pass on is really humbling.
The one celb death that really was my first true realization that death is universal, and life is cruel sometimes was Phil Hartman. I was 14 and was starting to get to the age where I was allowed to watch later parts of SNL with my parents. I loved him. So when he was murdered it was the first time I truly learned that celebrities are human too and really bad things can happen to nice and good people.Got that right. But no celebrity death will ever hurt me has bad as Robin Williams. Never met him, but had such an influence on my childhood. And to learn he was in such pain and so sad, broke my heart. He got me through a lot of rough times in my teen years when my Dads dementia start to show up. I really miss him.
Alan Rickman hurts too. Such a genuine person. When I read the story of the drawing he willed back for Rupert Grint (from the Harry Potter movies) I teared up a bit.
Losing so many good folks.

Mom loved Rod Stewart and Barry Manilow. She was a huge fan. I keep waiting for the news that theyre gone.Really not looking forward to my 60s and 70s when so many of the people you grew up with are going.
Sure, Betty White and Bob Saget passing is terrible.. but as a 35 year old, there's only a few every year. But I know that'll turn into 20 to 30 a year as I get older.
Ummm Betty White was almost 100, Saget was 65. Generational diffetence.Really not looking forward to my 60s and 70s when so many of the people you grew up with are going.

Uh, Betty White began in radio before Saget born. That's your takeaway from what I wrote?
Betty White's and Bob Saget's biggest claim to fame were two shows that literally overlapped each other for most of their run time. Doesn't matter if they were 35 years apart, their golden era was late 80s and early 90s.
His last tweet is heartbreaking. Said he was addicted to having fun and doing standup again. He just performed in Jacksonville last night
RIP
Me too, TGIF was my childhood. That sucks. 65 is pretty young still.Sorry. Didn’t mean to react so sharply. I loved Bob. Lots of good memories on Friday nights.
No signs of drug activity according to the sherrifs office, if he OD’ed in the room he would have had it right beside him.Died in a hotel room.. 1,000% Overdose.
Fully vaxxed and got the booster about a month ago in his butt.Wonder if he got vaxxed recently.
