Best tournament in the owrld of golf. I know we have some fellow golfers/fans here.

A lot of good stuff in this tournament. Tiger looks really good so far. Phil as well. However the main story to me is will Speith hold on for his first major? (he is currently -14 on the 16th hole of his second round) Also, if he does, should Speith be considered the best player in the world? Since the end of last year, nobody has played better in the world, including Rory. Thoughts?

What Speith is doing right now is ridiculous. He's making it look so damn easy too.

My Russell Henley fantasy pick looked great early on yesterday....but he's struggling today. And I shouldn't have gotten creative and selected Jimmy Walker over Speith. Damn.

The big question is will Sunday even matter at this point? I'm not sure Hoffmann can keep it up at this pace, and looking at Speith there's no doubt in my mind he can.

Not knocking you guys but seriously - I don't know how you all stand to watch golf. I'd rather watch grass grow

That's how I feel about hockey.

But seriously, this is the greatest golf tournament in the world. I don't set aside time to watch many (except for the Majors), but when it comes to The Masters I have the TV on in my office and my iPad going. There's nothing like it.

I am not a hockey fan either dukiejay. Me being from New England and you from Minnesota, you'd think we thought differently than that.

I watch a ton of golf and play even more. What these guys can do on a course is insanely good and that is why I watch.

The impressive thing about Speith's two rounds are his playing partners were so bad. I was hoping Rory would have a good tournament and see them go head to head for the championship.

It's possible I may hate hockey worse than golf.

If someone watches golf who does not actually play golf, then there is no way they can appreciate what these pro golfers do.

The FF backed with the Masters is what makes the early spring one of the best times of the year. It's even more sweet knowing we are national champs!

Today is moving day at the Masters, let's see what Jordan can do in the last group of the day.

Great day at Augusta yesterday.

Speith actually had a few poor tee shots on the back nine in round 2 but showed great poise and ability to recover. His long game is only slightly above average but his putting, short game and mental approach are phenomenal. Which is huge for Majors.

This will be a test for that great mental fortitude. He seems to be so strong in his intensity and concentration. If he can avoid a big score on a hole I think he'll be in good shape. But, if he gets into trouble on a few holes - and shoots 2-3 over today, then there are several great players lurking who could shoot a 66 or 68 and really close the gap.

Great to see Phil have that excellent back nine and to see Els up there (though I suspect he'll fade). yNot sure if Phil can keep it going - he can look awesome for 2-3 holes then just completely mess up (He made an amazing recovery on 14 and on 10). Even McIlroy had a tremendous back nine, shooting 31. What is interesting is that McIlroy has shot the same score on each nine each day: 40/31. But, I think he's out of it.

Speith is well in command but Tiger has came out smoking. Believe we are going to see some special golf today. Phil is minus 8 and Tiger already at minus 6. OFC

Tiger playing well certainly is special these days. I'm rooting for Spieth and Rory. Young guns!

The Masters is on the bucket list of mine to attend.
I wouldn't mind seeing Spieth win, however, I hope to see the leaderboard tighter going into Sunday. Some big names creeping their way up!

I was a little worried after Speith hit that second shot in to 18. Hitting a flop from where he was at was unbelievable. He may shoot 67 or better tomorrow.

That was an astounding day of golf at the Masters.

Incredible leaderboard ... and fantastic to see so many stars play great - Phil, Tiger, Rory, Rose, Johnson, etc. ... and yet, Spieth hung in there mentally all the way to the end.

That recovery on 18 was amazing, given the circumstances and pressure.

It's really crazy how much Spieth reminds me of a young me. Totally has the same game as me...just maybe not quite as polished.

And now to the real truth. The Masters is unreal - seriously greatest time of the whole year starts the first day of the NCAA tournament and runs through the Masters. National championship this year with Duke - and next year I have a badge to the Masters. Does life get any better???

That is great. He was the winner of the par three competition also. And may I add, please keep the microphone away from Tiger Woods. The viewing public does not need to hear his rants and foul mouth. OFC

Speith is a breath of fresh air. A young American (not name Tiger) living up to the hype. The kid has it all.

He was poised all week end even after having some bad holes he came right back with some pressure shots. I think I've found my new favorite golfer to go along with Phil. OFC

sky, I have been on the Speith bandwagon for 3 years now. He is a very impressive young man.

I do not like or root for Phil at all but he was pretty darn good this weekend.

I also like Justin Rose. Typically I like the American golfers over all others but Rose is an easy guy to root for. (kind of like Rory and G Mac)
