You really couldn't write that story and pass it off as nonfiction. Nobody would believe you. I thought it was awesome and I'm with you on crazy lady Baskins. It's hard for me to believe she didn't have something to do with her husbands death. The Staircase and Making a Murderer are also good.

I'm ashamed to say once I started I couldn't stop until I finished. It is absolutely insane.

Still cant decide if it was good or the worst thing I have ever CONTINUED to watch. Agree with the way stranger than fiction nature. Bunch of loons.
When a woman who has her arm up to the elbow amputated after being mauled by a tiger returns to work after 4 just days clearly presents as the most sane individual on the show...

Is this thread about Dabo Swinney?

No, Denver, it's about the real Tiger King, Brad Brownell.:)

I enjoyed it. All that went down about 30 minutes from where I deer hunt every year. Oklahoma is awesome. And yeah, I think the husband was murdered.

Great Great show. They set Joe up. Carol Baskins is terrible. She definitely killed her husband and I don’t get her whole point with her park. The cats live in much worse conditions than the other guys. She’s conning people out of money

I binged all 7 episodes, incredibly entertaining television.
Apparently there is another surprise episode coming out on Netflix sometime later this week....

I live less than 5 miles from Carole Baskin's Big Cat Rescue! My wife visited the sanctuary in the early 90's when she was a kid and stood in Carole's kitchen and met the first husband. She said that Carole creeped her out back then. First Husband met Carole walking along Nebraska Ave which is notorious as a place for prostitutes. Carole was an underage runaway that was turning tricks! Her best trick was feeding her husband to the Cats and making millions! And Joe Exotic was absolutely set-up! The former Vegas business partner is absolutely ruthless and took advantage of Joe's desperation and lack of good business sense!

I'm contemplating whether to watch it or not. A buddy told me I'd lose brain cells....but that it's worth it. Lol. So I'm conflicted.

It is the perfect storm as far as arriving right when large portions of America are holed up in their houses. It is strangely riveting though, a bizarre tapestry of people and events that is hard to believe.

To me, it was the tv version of reading Ipsy’s posts. I made it through half an episode.

Bahahahaha that’s a good comparison.. I watched it late at night when the wife went to bed. I’ve not been able to sleep since the stay at home stuff so it was a nice no thinking thing to wind down with

If nothing else you get to enjoy a flamboyant gay cowboy from Oklahoma who points guns in peoples direction. The show is pretty interesting and I enjoyed it. I also recomend all three seasons of The Sinner (USA and Netflix), and seasons one and three of True Detective.

1st episode sucks you in, then some wasted time, then Carole Baskin kills her husband, some more wasted time, then the meth takes hold of Joe Exotic. Could have been 3 episodes.

I thought it was awful but that you couldn’t look away. It was about the middle of the third episode where i thought to myself- who exactly is supposed to be the good guy here? Kept waiting for a protagonist to arrive. Then i quickly realized that they had achieved their goal of this series- i hated every single person involved. Congrats Netflix, you got me. As has been said above, you can’t make this stuff up. One person wilder than the next. Cults, murderers, druggies, you name it.

You guys are doing one helluva a job convincing me that I need to watch it. ;)

My guess is I'm going to pass.
