Did any of you guys see the unc cheater u /W.F. football game tonight? I went to a local high school football game and of course didn't see it but from what I hear the heels got a royal screwing from the refs again. I want a fair look at this and invite the heel fans take on it also. Of course the Duke fans are gonna say the officials had nothing to do with the heels living but what is heel nation take on it? I did see the stats and saw that W.F. only had 2 penalties called on them where the heels had many. OFC

No screw job. The dude’s momentum had already been stopped, hence he was down, hence the clock kept running. Simple, nothing screwy about it.
Edit: It's not as black and white. The dude did run for a first down, I guess the clock would have been stopped temporarily. In the grand scheme of things, I really don't think it would matter. The UNx players were dog tired, the qb had just taken a monster hit the previous play. They were barely moving. Eh. You want to see a real screw job? See Duke v Miami 2015.

The royal screw job was perpetrated by the Carolina coaching staff letting so much time waste between downs, with no timeouts left.
It looked like we’d never practiced that scenario.
It’s fair to argue there was 1 second left, but the honest story was how effective Wakes defense was and how ineffective our offense was.

The clock running out is all on the cheaterU player. He should have been in full sprint mode to the sideline. He didn't, got caught and the ref felt his momentum was stopped in bounds. end of game. Go straight to the sideline and you have 1 or 2 seconds left. I guess having to go take class Friday morning before a game taxed the brain cells or either could read a clock.

Agree with this. Cheats totally mismanaged the last drive. Even if they had gotten the clock stopped they would have had to throw a Hail Mary pass about 50 yards. The percentages on hitting that one are really low.
Bottom line, the game was lost in the first half. Wake was the better coached team.

The unc cheater u schedule has been brutal the 1st 3 games of the 2019 season. Entire schedule is brutal. Could easily be 3-0 . So many bad calls against them vs. W.F. Could easily be ranked if not for the poor officiating in the W.F. game. I know all of you are saying that officiating wasn't a factor but I heard it straight from a heel fans mouth at work today just like ponarkel said. Who woukd know better than an unbias heel fan and we as Duke fans always see it the ABC way. Just to let you guys know I have given ponarkel permission to post as a proxy for me when I work in case some of you are confused. OFC

He is a big of a Duke fan as I am. He can get a little sarcastic from time to time. He doesn'the like potted meat and rarely does he drink Cheerwine . He doesn't eat potted meat. He does like some good "nanner puddin " from time to time.He and I agree on everything. He has lots of pet peeve's with the main one is text drivers. He really doesn't care for people who text while he is eating with them or while visiting with him text constantly. He loves the color Duke Blue. He doesn't care for Duke fans who constantly criticize Duke players and second guess Coach K. Key word in last sentense constantly. He understands from time to timenjoy the right to voice individual opinions on how the game is going. He understands all Duke fans get frustrated from time to time. One more thing he loves to make fun of hof coach roy williams and despises unc cheater u fans and other fans who show up on this board when they have no business being here. He loves being a all sport Duke fans and has seen the lean times. OFC
