I think I might’ve mentioned on here before that my family has been going to White Lake here in North Carolina on and off for the last 27 years. I’ve got a buddy that lives down there that makes White Lake Life shirts and hats that he sells and he also takes photos around White Lake and has them put on canvas and sells them too. Earlier tonight he posted a picture on Facebook of a new shirt that he designed and is selling them. On the back of the shirt it says “White Lake Shark Free Since 93” then he just posted another statuses on Facebook saying “Well I believe I’ve got “were there sharks in White Lake?” trending on Google”. People actually thought that there used to be sharks in White Lake. lol

Haha, that's a pretty dang funny story, Diehard!

OFC
I couldn’t help but laugh. If some people actually thought that there used to be sharks in White Lake just from him posting a pic of a T-shirt that he designed I can’t wait to see how many people actually believe that there used to be sharks in White Lake once he starts selling a lot of his new T-shirts. White Lake might end up making a lot of money from people going to White Lake to see the lake that they think used to have sharks in it but then they’re probably going to be mad once they find out that they spent money to go to a lake that they thought used to have sharks in it but there were never sharks in the lake. Especially since White Lake is about an hour from the beach and there’s nothing that connects the lake to the ocean. lol

Good story diehard. Now if he would have said “ gator” one could wonder lol.

Being close to the cape fear and the swamp.
Yeah people probably wouldn’t believe that there are gators in White Lake even though there’s a good possibility of that happening but yet they’ll believe that there used to be sharks in White Lake lol

Well there did, only it was a few million years ago when nearly half the state was underwater. So technically there used to be sharks there....lol.
