Howard went to elite 8, sweet 16 and then NIT the past 3 years . Rutgers fans would love it

Woodson by all accounts a good guy. Great recruiter.

I think he needs much better assistants. Might want to shake up staff.

There in lies the problem. Will Michigan tolerate Rutgers slapping them silly? See what I did there?
I just don't see why they would. College basketball is super competitive. The B1G is adding USC UCLA Oregon Washington. You don't want to risk falling off the map for multiple years

Slappy will get another year only because he's revered alum and due to his heart surgery.

What a disaster Michigan has become !

Woodson, on the other hand, may be in trouble..

Dustin May, FAU Coach, is an Indiana alum and don't think Hoosier money people aren't aware...:)

May will ask for a kings ransom and probably get it from Indiana.

I am not sure AD Warde Manuel has the support to fire Howard, Manuel is himself hanging on by a string based on how he handled or mismanaged the Harbaugh situation. Even though they won the National Title and are feeling good about things, being last in the B1G, has to be a concern.

It's not that Michigan doesn't need to make a change away from Howard, some alums/fans want Manuel out and let a new AD perhaps make a change next year. I think Howard gets another year or Manuel and Howard are shown the door.

Howard takes over well run blue blood type program coming off a final 4...

Elite 8
Sweet 16
NIT
Last place single digit wins

Notice the trend?
Also a loose cannon . Definitely agree program headed in a downward trend.

This.

Luckily for us and the rest of the conference, I think they'll end up keeping Juwan next year.

I don't think Indiana, where basketball comes first second and third, is tolerating Woodson for another year.

Is their AD really in that much trouble after winning a national championship? How did he mismanage harbough? Didn't really follow that story much
