This one comes to mind and it has sort of been forgotten, yet could never be duplicated:



Only thing that would have made that better is if while Jack was walking across the green, he said "What the hell are you hitting it down here for anyway Johnny?"

I was at that MN game. We left early in disgust and a state of apathy. Watched the end in the lots. Knew things were going to turn around after that.

That's one of those things where you could try make that putt 500 times and not make it and Jack just does it first try.

My company built the world's largest (to this day) synthetic turf putting green in the world in Port St. Lousy. Longest putt was 120 yards (end zone to end zone). I tried that putt more than 500 times and never made it. Left one on the lip one day.

Cool project. George Clifton and I sort of co-designed it.
