Week 10 started on Tuesday with lots of high scoring MACtion.

Ball St beat Akron 31-25, causing Akron to fire its head coach.
Ohio beat Miami OH 35-33
EMU beat Toledo 52-49 in a typical MAC shootout
Central Michigan beat Western Michigan 42-30
Kent St. beat Northern IL 52-47

A few games on Friday night:
Utah goes to The Tree
VA Tech goes to BC

Saturday's highlights:
Army at Air Force. Land vs. Sea.
13 Auburn at 14 aTm
4 Oregon at Washington
9 Wake Forest at North Carolina. Two pretty good quarterbacks on display here.
SMU at Memphis. I think this could be a fun watch.
Navy at 10 ND. I think Navy is better than its 2-6 record, but, yeah, they probably get thumped here.
UTSA at UTEP. Hope no one gets a UTI from this.

Yeah!!!! My alma mater (EMU) is fun to watch finally and I live in SC now!!! Bummer!!!

Given its Tuesday/Wednesday schedule, we should just call MAC football “the league.”

“Sorry — Can’t go to taco Tuesday, I’ve got the league.” (Bowling, Darts, indoor golf, D1 college football, whatev)

It’s been an amazing run, but I think it’s probably time for Lee Corso to spend his Saturdays not on TV. His analysis is limited to utterances, not words, and definitely not sentences, these days.

Agree, I still dislike him for his NU bias.

Nebby hanging tough with OSU this far. 3-0 with 10 mins to go in Q2. The Huskers missed a FG and just punted 8 yards from their own end.

watching Illinois Nebraska....I think I just realized how poor our personnel and scheme is this year. We are never creative....we play like it is an arm wrestling contest...for the first time this year hope is leaving my balloon. Now the question is...is this a short term or long term issue...we really needed to have a decent year this year to silence the naysayers that think we just get lucky occasionally......hope they shut me up tonight. I hate to say this but I think we will need to play well this year to beat the Illini

Illinois is using a 6 man front to force Minny away from the run. Working very well so far.

Why didn't you put a number next to UTSA, like those other teams you put numbers next to? No respect?

At the Army Navy game he was really messing up with his co host's names, etc. My Dad has Alzheimer's, and Lee was really struggling at the end of last season like my Dad was when it really started to take hold. Retire the man!!! He is looking his age and as a result of his mental collapse, they have severely limited his contribution. It is pathetic at this point. Gameday has to move on.

@FeralFelidae ESPN doesn’t give UTSA a number either, I think because of the CFP rankings.

Ohhhh, Nebraska. Martinez misses wide open guy on 3rd and 4 (it’d been run run run on the drive to that point) , and then a missed chippy. (31 yards — I can relate!)

23-17 Bucks inside of 10 minutes.

Yeah, it’s sad now.

He’s always bumbled, but he’s pretty non-functional now. His cohosts just kind of lean in as he’s trying to put together his thought, like the adults waiting for a three year old. Herbstriet helped him with his catchphrase (‘yo’!).

Game over, Illinois beats the gophers on the road. They've now beaten Nebraska, PSU, and Minny.

Can we please get at least one upset this year?

Give credit it IL, but the Goofs QB is awful and if he hit any open receivers this is not a game.

Unfortunately they are a much better team than us this year. There are 12 fences and defensive lines won the battle with Minnesota easily which we lost quite handily

Yes. Bell is awesome.

I love how Purdue kept attacking MSU with a big lead. Helps to have a wideout who can’t be covered, and a decent #2 and a good TE.

Weird game going on between Tennessee and Kentucky. Voles lead 31-28 midway through Q3 but the have 6:39 total possession time vs 31 for UK.
