Good. An apology should be made for that. In no way should it ever happen, but you cant control the actions of one dumbass fan that loses his shi(r)t. We can understand that. Review it, find the person responsible, take action to ban that person from attending another game ever again.

Good move by the Sooners in issuing an apology, I'll give them credit. It would be cool if they calmed down and came back to win some more games to make it into the NCAA tournament this year, they've played some good basketball this year, last night's game was a barnburner.

Go Big Blue !

This is what happens when you have dollar beer night.
Maybe but come on, I’ve been almost blackout drunk and I’ve never throw a beer an at anyone. Maybe the ole crayon muncher a bit much. I know all drunks are different but if you get that smashed in a 2 hour game you have issues or are a student.

Wonder if they’ll ever find them. Unless they've got a better angle or unless someone comes forward (which I doubt they will) they mey get away with it.

You and I wouldn't but the 10 percenters would, plus I'm sure there was a good amount of day drinkin' involved with the 8pm local start time. You're just asking for it.

The only reason I mentioned it was because I was listening to the post game and Jones said..."they had dollar beer night and free tacos and still couldn't fill the place....new worst environment in the SEC".

That’s crazy, I’d go watch a Louisville game of tickets were cheap and they offered that.

In a major disciplinary action, the NCAA has fined the Oklahoma Sooners $400,000 for what it termed as “gross misconduct in relation to crowd control” following their game against the Kentucky Wildcats. The decision comes after an intense matchup that saw the Wildcats edge out the Sooners with a narrow 83-82 victory. However, the game was overshadowed by incidents involving the Oklahoma crowd, whose actions have drawn widespread condemnation from the sports community.

The decision comes after an intense matchup that saw the Wildcats edge out the Sooners with a narrow 83-82 victory. However, the game was overshadowed by incidents involving the Oklahoma crowd, whose actions have drawn widespread condemnation from the sports community.

Incident Overview

The controversy stems from what the NCAA described as “unacceptable chants” directed at Kentucky’s guard Otega Oweh. Throughout the game, sections of the Oklahoma crowd engaged in disruptive behavior, with chants that were deemed inappropriate and in violation of NCAA’s sportsmanship regulations. The hostility reached a level that prompted intervention from both game officials and Oklahoma’s coaching staff.

“This shouldn’t have a place in our sport,” an NCAA spokesperson said in a statement. “Sportsmanship is a fundamental value of collegiate athletics, and what we witnessed was not only a breach of conduct but a failure in ensuring a safe and respectful competitive environment.”

I’ve been totally black out drunk. You can rest assured I didn’t throw any bottles at anybody at that point.

Yeah, what were they thinking when they scheduled the game on a Wednesday at 8 pm? They were asking for it.

At the Arkansas game I ordered a bottled water before the game and the lady handed me a cup of water. I said maam I wanted a bottled water and she said, "we arent allowed to sell them because they want to keep HIM safe". I just laughed and walked away.

Two teams with season on the line, the home team more so. A collapse from a 13-0 start to a 14th slot in conference. A returning kid that left you for your opponent and is the heart of that team. Dollar beer. Late start. A guy that played for your hated in state rival.

What could possibly go wrong?

"unacceptable chants" I guess the chants at Cameron Indoor Stadium get grandfathered in like the Cowbells at a Mississippi St. football game?

I was visiting my grandpa in Owensboro once and he took me to see KWC play USI when Bruce Pearl was coaching. During the game, a few fights broke out in the stands and someone threw an open (small) pocketknife and a brown paper roll of coins at Pearl.

Cmonn man. You know Duke is in another world than everyone else as far as the NCAA goes. Cory Maggettie was chanting with all his jewelry on.
Momma and Daddy Zion couldn’t make it through. Theys laid up in coach Ks house in the Hamptons watching from dare.
