This game has that feel of last year's Texas game. Baylor looks like a dead team walking, OU has everything in front of them, some fans think this will be an easy win and are looking to next weekend already. I hope the team is focused and knows that Baylor can score in bunches just like TT and has better WRS than TT.

If anyone thinks Baylor isn't capable of beating OU, they should consider what happened to Hillary Clinton this week. I sure don't want to spend Saturday afternoon pissed off at the world, but I also understand that it's a possibility.......and I hope the hell the OU players feel the same way. OU is going to have to play well to win the rest of their games, and that's the way it should be. Play hard, smart and with a lot of energy the rest of the way, and then there is a very good chance OU will be the Conference Champs again. After that, what happens, happens.

Of course, OU has to be ready to play at their best tomorrow. That is a given on every fairly competitive match up and I see this one as a competitive matchup.

However, lets don't go off the deep end. I don't buy the idea that Baylor's WRs are better as a unit than is those of Texas Tech. Baylor has one very good WR with the rest not so hot. Tech's WRs as a group are every bit as good as those of Baylor and likely overall quicker and can catch the ball as good as any of the Baylor WRs.

Russell isn't a Mahomes either. Mahomes is much more dangerous throwing the ball as is Russell. Russell is likely the less accurate of the Briles QBs. My guess is that the combination of Mahomes and his WRs is more of a threat than is Russell and his WRs.

I also think this is the weakest Baylor defense in some time, at least over the prior four years. And they aren't very deep either. Again, OU has to play better on defense and the OU offense has to score points. Not any different than any other game.

It will be interesting to see how Baylor plays this game. I think the Baylor coaches got burnt pretty bad over last weeks blowout loss. And K. Briles spent a day with the NCAA over his past recruiting rules violations. So, that could as well be a distraction.

Hope Bob showed the team the Orange Bowl loss to Arkansas.

OU playing at home historically has been worth an extra touchdown for the Sooners.
OU is slowly getting healthier and the young players are not so young anymore with three games to play....and given the overall weakness of the Big 12, OU's got no excuses losing this game...even if Baylor plays its best game of the season.

If OU comes out and runs the ball, I think OU wins by two scores. If Riley gets cute and pass happy it's going to be a slug fest. RUN THE BALL AND WIN BIG!

Baylor mailed it in after the Texas loss. Even though I think OU is a slightly above average team, they should whip a lost BU squad.

I think we will get a good indication of the mindset of the players over the first 15 minutes of this game. If Baylor comes out and scores early I fear it just might turn into another Tech game.

I dont doubt the offense will score its share of points but I hope the defense sets the tone early by forcing the Bears into mistakes and not allowing those big 3rd down conversions. Get stops and tackle well and I think OU can win big.

Dont be surprised though if this game gets chippy like it did last year and from the shot ESPN just showed the two teams are already jawing at each other
