TCU is beating the hell out of Oklahoma. It's 34-10 and there's still 10 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

OU looking like Kansas of old. If we don't beat OU this year then they should fire the staff after the game.

TCU with cheap shot on a sliding QB. Looks like OU will have to play the backup 5 star QB.

TCU just got a stupid targeting call. I hope that doesn't fire the Sooners up.
I actually hate TCU more than Oklahoma because of the past cheap shot hits and face mask against WVU that officials never flagged.

Q: What is the only thing stupider than when they go away from the football game you're watching to make you watch another football game you've already decided not to watch?

A: When they go away from the football game you're watching to make you watch a game from an entirely different sport.

I was watching OU-TCU football until a couple minutes ago. But now on my screen is MLB.

TCU needs new helmets. I don't know what that is on the side, probably a Horned Frog, but whatever it is it looks like crap.

These officials are absolutely horrendous against TCU after that cheap shot on OU QB.

1. No PI on a play also no targetting for defenseless player.
2. Poor spot of ball.
3. Invisible fair catch.

But they still can't stop TCU.

More worried about TCU than I am Oklahoma. Mainly because cheap shots and they're good.

How does Baylor and TCU get new coaches and are right away competitive and we get Humpty Dumpty for a coach
They have players stay that were previously there. Plus TCU and Baylor are in talent rich Texas. Their coaches have many years as a HC and coaching at P5 schools.

The player wasn't defenseless. Running play through the line and the runner went straight to the defender who was being occupied by a lineman. If that was ruled targeting, then we're in for flag football from now on.

Wasn't a run play. It was a pass play in first half and the defender lead with his helmet hitting above the shoulders and also before the ball got there.

A TCU player was called for targeting by hitting a sliding QB in the head.

Is the game delayed?
OU is still waiting for their defense to get off the bus. But it's over. I think they switched final minutes to ESPNN

If you're talking about WVU it's a 7:30 game FS1

Anyone else think OU & UT are going to be middle-of-the-pack teams in SEC?
I guess they don't mind. $$$

I hope you're right. And we take the luster out of tcu.
Well, we had a lot of trouble trying to stop the Kansas option. Now TCU and K St are running it too. And Texas Tech was running their QB. Just my opinion, but the conference looks upside down this year and wins are going to be very difficult to get.

Because the previous staffs didnt leave the program in a shell of itself... If Brown inherited a typical roster from both a talent & experience perspective it wouldnt have taken this long, but he didnt and the starting point matters. It was literally the worst WVU roster in the 21st century from both a talent & experience perspective. Going from a few deviations below zero to a couple deviations above zero takes time, when deploying traditional concepts, but even then I feel our cap is lower compared to if we stuck to our roots of what made WVU football a known football brand..

The one thing Ive been saying for a few years on here is how WVU should be deploying Speed as its primary skillset, an offense similar to Kansas... Its an easier path to be competitive and a massive salute to Lance for identifying that & deploying it. That said, Les Miles did improve recruiting a little too during his time there, which helped, but the combination of specific skillset & scheme can go a long long way to mask other inefficiencies, esp if you are trying to deploy a traditional offense(Like what we are deploying now)...

Speed, Shiftiness, & Hard Nosed players that played with heart, strong fundamentals, and hard hitting... That combined with creative schemes can offset the lack of typical blue chip talent deployed in traditional schemes. We'll never be able to compete at high levels deploying the same thing as everyone else...

The most painful part of Kansas beating us, is they did with a skillset & scheme that use to be our calling card, that we deployed to perfection...

Kansas still needs a bit more talent before they can "peak" under that philosophy, but you can see an immediate return and a high ceiling with just a little patience..

That should be what is deployed in Morgantown, and Ive been yelling it from the rooftops for years... Perhaps now people will realize that is the easiest path for a non-blueblood to compete at higher levels..

Kansas went transfer portal route this year getting 24 from there.

Kansas offense was shut down today but lucky for them ISU offense sucks so KU defense won it.

WVU has beaten TCU 4 straight and 5 of last 6. Have beaten Duggan 3 straight.

I-State missed 3 (makeable) field goals. That was the difference in the game.
