Defense is the key to winning Saturday. Stop their run, keep JT bottled up, and pray the CBs attempt to make a play on a 50/50 ball just once.

Agree. OU's offense should score enough to win if both the defense and kicking game are solid.
If OU wins the kicking game (punt and kickoff coverage and returns, field goals and extra points) both the offense and defense benefit by an element of winning games that always seems to get little attention in the final box score or game analysis.
My main concern with Ohio State is how well Coach Meyer has his young team prepared and motivated. That feeling applies to Stoops as well.
A win by OU puts the season on back on track.

I'm sure he meant John Cooper.

If OU's defense doesn't step up, especially the secondary, the Sooners will be toast. It's that simple. We'll see the old Baker Mayfield at work. The pocket won't be there. He'll do fine. Penalties need to be minimal. I'm not making any predictions. There is no telling what is going to happen.

Urban Myer might have a stake in this.

I know our line can stop the run game, maybe we can force some picks.

Woody Hayes is plays too conservative a game to beat a Barry Switzer led Sooner team.

As a Buckeye fan I have been looking forward to this game. While not a big Sooner fan, Oklahoma has been the team I usually watch in the Big 12/Big 8 (Shows my age).

I have no idea how it will play out. This year's Buckeyes are talented and fast, but still looking to grow. Half the team had never played a down of college football before this season started with 44 red-shirt and true freshman on the roster.

I could very well see Oklahoma win, and if the Buckeyes learn from the loss, end up in a rematch in one of the playoff games.

Buckeye here and to be quite honest, I have no idea what to expect in this game. Speaking for what I've seen during the first two games, there are times when the Buckeyes look like the best team in the country but other times that leave me scratching my head wondering "what the he!! was that all about" ? I guess you guys could say the same thing through your first two games. Should be a heck of a game featuring two of the very best QBs in CF.

I will be shocked if our defense is physical enough or deep enough to hang with Ohio State for four quarters. If we had more of a ball control type offense to allow our defense some rest, I'd feel a lot more confident.

Considering this is a forum and not face to face I'm sorry I didn't pick up on the sarcasm/joking but sure ok

You should come back for more than just tOSU week. There's a whole slew of us Sooner fans, and we ***** and moan, argue and fight, make bold claims that we fail to back up on area golf courses, shoot off at the mouth, or back patio, if need be...

I can only speak for myself, of course, but yes, this is a message board. I am definitely better looking than any male internet French models and I don't have to prove it.

The Oklahoma Sooners are the greatest college football program ever, that's not just my opinion, it is fact. I fact checked it a minute ago.

We are OKLAHOMA!!!
