What if NU transferred a curse to OU a few weeks ago?

Wow, 600ish yards put up against OU. I can’t believe how bad we are.

OU caught us at a bad time for us…..
I would love to play OU again. They caught us right after the Frost firing and while Chins was still our DC. I also think our guys were psyched out about playing OU and still had that Frost mentality of losing hanging around. If we played them now I think we would make a game of it for sure.

How does OU become so bad so fast? I didn’t think it was possible to look worse than Frost in his first year, but he is trying. And it’s not like the roster is devoid of talent.

**** OU

their fans were so cocky about Venables being an upgrade and so far he’s been exactly the guy they ran out of town the first time.

you’d have to be stupid to think the DC of a team with 5* talent beating up 3* talent was somehow a defensive mastermind

Lincoln Riley leaving OU for USC is still one of the funniest coaching moves of all time, especially since OU fans were crying about him not doing enough in the playoffs before he made the move

oklahoma seem like a case of a head coach recruiting coaches and players for another team for a year
I wonder if oklahoma could get osu's gundy as coach?
besides folks complaining, that seems like it would be the smoothest hc transition in history

Life is cyclical especially in sports no one or no team can stay on top forever, a fact we've suffered for nearly two decades. Even mighty Alabama went through a tough stretch after Bear Bryant passed on.

I remember the mid 2000s when people said LSU, Florida etc were the future of the SEC. Bama was an afterthought, then they hired Saban.

Oklahoma would be exactly the last team he would ever coach.

oklahoma and gundy both would benifit alot,
oklahoma getting a solid hc who knows the area well,
and gundy might see alot more money and recruiting areas with the sec..
