This team could've folded when Duke went up double digits early in the second half, but they turned up the defense and made it tough for Duke to get easy shots and our veteran lineup bowed their backs and just found a way to win. I have Hope in Pope!!

Exactly why I prefer experience in College Basketball over a team of young, talented players. The veterans triumphed over the youth of DOOK tonight.
Ive said all along that we have 3 gems/defensive stoppers: Oweh-Butler-Williams and we have a few more that are more than capable!
UK used their halftime well..
Had a gut check, chance to slow down and realize "Oh OK, this is why playing at Kentucky is deferent". Lol
Got a better flow on offense, started attacking more.
Substitutions were good, used depth well. Realized this wasn't Chandlers game. Did give Robinson alot more minutes than probably deserved but he still played solid D regardless of disappearing on O.
Got more physical on D, which helped Duke get beat down physically.
We have guys experienced enough to know how to be in shape for major college games early in the season.
We have players that know it's a 40 minute game and know how to lose, which knowing how to lose helps you handle a lot of different aspects of a 40 minute game.
