Let me start by saying I didn’t like Jerry Tipton because I thought he focused on the negatives for his stories. With that said, at least he dug for the truth
Something is going on at UK. Rumors everywhere you turn. Barnhart is gonna be out. Stoops is now gone and a buyout negotiation. Trouble and turmoil with our basketball team that they can’t get along. Two guys in Oweh and Garrison with draft aspirations coming back with zero effort and regression. NIL is now in the hands of JMI whatever that might mean???
My point is where is any semblance of media to find the truth in anything surrounding UK? Culpepper used to break stories. Tipton chased Gillespie around campus. Our media is nothing more than message board posters. Jones , KSR, and others wright articles that ASK QUESTIONS, not answer them. Is this the reason? Is that the reason?? Maybe a shake up coming.
Damn, if I worked in media I think I could grab 2 scoops a month minimum. How hard is it to actually talk to people surrounding the program?? You can’t keep most things private. Media is scared of loosing their access. Tipton didn’t care. He would probably pay a student manager 500 for WTF is going on in that locker room.
Tons of other rumors that a power play is happening at the top and people want Mitch and Eli out.
How hard could it be to do some investigation Journalism???

All I know is it seems we have so much drama at UK anymore that it truly takes away from being a fan. I wish I had the answer for I surely would give it.
I have looked forward to watching UK games for over 6 decades and every season just seems to be a repeat of the same.

A burger Boy at one time. Yes, I’m sure his camp was hoping he could put together a Junior campaign as a starter that would put him back in the conversation. He has played his way out of a bench role in Turkey.
