These are terrible times. American tearing American apart. Americans tearing America apart. Viruses killing our vulnerable. Our politicians warehousing the vulnerable together. Terrotist, both domestic, and international. Men claiming to be women so they can feel good about winning a sporting event. Women claiming love is rape. Government run rampant on our rights, and we let them. Murderwasps, police killings, riots, looting.

It's all driving us batty. Depressing people. I was reminded about our motto, the motto of the United States of America. In God We Trust. Four simple little words, and if every one of us took those words into our hearts once more, a lot of these problems would disappear.

In God We Trust. Let's try to remind our fellow countrymen. It's not a big thing, but it means everything.

That's the old motto. The new motto is "We're all in this for ourselves." It's the new American way. Maybe it was the old one too and I was just stupid enough not to know it but it damn sure is now.

By the way, probably not my most popular take ever but if America collapses and splinters like the old Soviet Union, I won't be bothered at all. Maybe 250 years was long enough for it to go on.
