We could have ran the ball every play and be in this game. Instead we did an experiment with an idiot freshman and embarrassed the University.

It feels like our entire athletics department is becoming an embarrassment. We need changes starting with barnhart.

No bet on this shitshow.

I do care about Kentucky and their growth. This is an embarrassment and characteristic of the old KY football program. It affects recruiting and the fanbase.
Let's calm down with the comparisons to old KY football. This year would have been a big year for us in the 00s.

People in this thread are high.

The offense has stunk all year. It wasn’t suddenly going to run the ball against a good defense. UK wasn’t going to win throwing short and making a big run facing Iowa’s zone defense. No QB on this roster has the accuracy to make a deep throw and keep Iowa honest so they got just keep everything in front of them and make the tackle.

Also our ST is bad we slowly get strangled in starting field position. Iowa advanced the ball just by punting and forcing a three and out.

It was the worst offense in the SEC all year and today didn’t have its best players. UK wasn’t winning minus multiple Iowa turnovers and/or freak big plays from offense and ST. No amount of preparation - great or awful - would have made a lick of difference.
