Our season summed up in 20 seconds

At 12:28 left in first half, our offense (which has looked putrid the first 7 1/2 minutes) generates a beautiful 3 by Mo that air mails the rim and slams off the backboard….

Transition back to D and they shoot a 3 that bounces long with 4 blue jerseys around it and 1 white jersey…

Yep you guessed it. White jersey gets it and throws underneath for a slam. The one who squints calls a TO.

I hate this team. I don’t want to hate Pope but it is heading that direction.
This is the most disgusting uk team in all my years.

I will never "hate" one of our own, but I am ready for Mitch to be jettisoned, and his replacement finding the replacement for Pope. It's what is best for our program. He's a great guy, but this ain't Mayberry.

Pope is an enthusiastic positive personality and I truly wanted him to succeed especially having to deal with the last several years of one of the more arrogant stubborn coaches with Cal. Unfortunately, positivity alone doesn't get it done. I am seeing some of the same stubborn behavior or refusal to bench certain guys the same way Cal refused but with a difference in bullheadedness vs. weakness.
