100% correct, so what does that say about the coach that lost to him? (Rhetorical question)
Coach has nothing to do with 0-14 in the second half. Missing wide open layups.

He absolutely has something to do with it. It was 1v1 bs, jacking up threes. A decent coach calls a timeout much earlier and draws up a play for an easy two to stop the bleeding.
Pope made no adjustments for a very long time

Wtf game were you watching. There was no bleeding. It was a 6 point swing in 12 minutes. That was mostly misses from the paint and hard fouls. They were running plays. They weren’t making shots. They weren’t shooting threes. They were shooting the ball from 4 feet out and bricking. Aberdeen air balled 2 lay ups. Even the last possession. Why did Chandler who has a 44 inch vertical try and reverse under the rim. DUNK THE BALL DUDE! Your defender was behind you. These dudes are playing like complete ***. Pope has no adjustments because his players can’t make adjustments. The dude didn’t just forget how to coach. They aren’t responding. They aren’t battling. They aren’t shooting with confidence. They aren’t moving the ball enough. There are no hard cuts after passes which is literally a mark Pope’s staple. They aren’t even running 5 out. If I’m gonna be honest it looks like the “system” is too confusing for them and they are thinking more than playing.
So...what Im hearing, is that the system is either too hard, or Pope recruited the wrong players for his system.
Or they need time to learn the offense. These dudes even with a ****** coach aren’t this bad. You could roll The ball out and still be competitive which is what’s ultimately happening. This is mental. They look confused and disjointed. The body language was better this game. The defense was better at the attack point. The rebounding was atrocious. The offense is a complete mess. But yeah. If pope can’t teach the back up PG the offense, if Our bigs can’t run a 5 out effectively, then we got the wrong players.
I still sense there is something interpersonal going on that's affecting the team. Certain players won't pass to certain players when they're wide open on a break or would be open for a 3.. How does a coach remedy this? I'm not sure. The individual talent on this team is enough to win. The team talent is missing.
I was watching Aberdeen go 1v1 over and over again. I was watching zero ball movement. I was watching random players chuck up threes. I was watching us have a chance to go up by double digits, but instead, we bled. A timeout and good drawn up play could have gotten us a quick basket. That stops our slump, aka bleeding.
That's the game I was watching.
Lowe needs to be out there. No coach, absolutely not one can win witout a PG. The one on one stuff would stop quickly with him out there calming things down. We badly need him back.
I agree and give Davis credit, at least twice, late in the game he called timeout after the ball crossed mid court. The Heels got a wide open shot and scored both times, a layup and a 3 if I’m not mistaken. Unfortunately we didn’t defend either time and whatever the last play was is all we came up with. Pope’s coaching so far this season has been very poor. IMO
