I really think people are not giving Oweh enough credit for what he just did. I began watching UK basketball since mid 60s and have never seen ANYONE score the last 18 points for UK. I wonder if its ever been done a LEGENDARY performance

Can't wait to watch it. I think MJ said post game only one guy scored for us in the last 10 minutes of the game and it was him. Glad he shook the rust off from the last game. Sounded like he was trying to do too much in the first half but stepped it up big time when we needed it.
They damned sure haven't done it with the last bucket being an acrobatic road game winner by 1 point.
Not to nitpick, but it was 21 out of the last 23 points. 21 out of 23 is even more impressive.
That was one of the all-time great individual stretches during a game for any Kentucky player.
I heard from somebody who knows somebody that Lois Lane called Pope after the game, thirsty for Oweh's phone number.
The ONLY player to score for UK in the last NINE minutes of the game. Made the game winning bucket, 5 seconds later, gets the game winning block. Dude put on a show, one for the ages.
I have been watching since the late forties and have never seen it. Safe to say it's never happened at Kentucky, and I doubt if anywhere in college basketball. Eighteen is over 21% of all of Kentucky's points in the game!
