Well….Big 12 is officially AAC 2.0.
Will be in a crap conference with no chance of being in the playoffs. But let’s face it, teams like West Virginia University have to go undefeated for two years to get into the playoffs with a 4 team format
So you lied when you said WVU was going to the ACC.Well appears BigTen and ACC wI’ll not be active at this time as well. Next expansion checkpoint will be when Texas and Oklahoma leave for SEC. It appears the Little8 Conference is in danger of being left behind because all commitments end in 2025. On the other hand the AAC programs are locked in past 2030. Looks like “timing” is the death nail for the Big12. It‘s a shame but responsibility clearly falls on Texas and Oklahoma. No one else.
Value is in the eye of the beholder. The problem isn't the existing schools --which rate higher than most of the other P5-having "no value", its that networks want a school or schools that are going to pull in 70 million viewers to go along with those in the 20's and teens over a season. No surprise.
Never will understand why it's so hard for some people to grasp on here that if any leftover Big12 schools added value they would already be gone. Including us.
People wanted to find unimportant facts so bad and claim stupid crap that didn't matter.
The only option is adding teams to the Big12. That's it. That's been it.
Max Olson, just said on Sic'em 365 that in the NCAA bylaws that the Big12 is a autonomous(Power5) conference and that it would take a lot to get that out, especially when the alliance said they want the Big12 to survive. So it would be the AAC schools going to the Big12 if the Big12 decides to expand.Dude you’re confused. The Big12 is dead man walking. Little8 programs are going to the AAC or staying put. AAC programs aren’t coming to Big12.
You are a complete idiot. Read the post minimum wage. What part of AAC 2.0 is positive?Dude you’re confused. The Big12 is dead man walking. Little8 programs are going to the AAC or staying put. AAC programs aren’t coming to Big12.
So you lied when you said WVU was going to the ACC.
You know nothing...just admit it.

We're not talking about 2025 retread
Max wasn't talking about down the road, that's what I was saying. please try to follow along. I know it's hard for you.Ummm you really dumb dude. This entire thing has been about 2025. My guess is you think a long term growth investment is a 6 month CD.

Interesting. Could this be because they know once Big 12 is gone that an SEC team moves into taking their spot in playoffs.Max Olson, just said on Sic'em 365 that in the NCAA bylaws that the Big12 is a autonomous(Power5) conference and that it would take a lot to get that out, especially when the alliance said they want the Big12 to survive. Yeah you did, those exit fees wouldn’t stop an AAC from joining the Big12. No matter what you believe or hear.Dude again this isn’t rocket science. Max ignored the contracts in place so typical talkin head that misinforms people like you. AAC programs aren’t going anywhere. We we go........keep up. The PAC12 just established that at this time that no P4 conference is expanding. That leaves a very clear vision of what’s left for these Little8 programs. There is roughly 4 years left until there is no obligation within the orphanage we call the Little8.
1. Little8 does nothing and either play things out with the two big brothers stay or ACCept a buyout and wake up 1/1/25.
2. At some point over next 4 years expansion circles back and some Little8 programs find a home.
3. By 2025 the remaining Little8 orphans look at non P4 options.
4. On 1/1/25 zero movement, Little8 adds non AAC midgets.
Leave anything out?
Everything. You are a complete idiot. Read the post minimum wage. What part of AAC 2.0 is positive?
I think it sucks and outside of possibly a Cincy, Memphis, there isn’t much opportunity to travel to games. I seriously have zero desire watching USF, UCF. Navy would be cool.Everything.
Better get a grip on reality or find something else to do on Saturdays.I think it sucks and outside of possibly a Cincy, Memphis, there isn’t much opportunity to travel to games. I seriously have zero desire watching USF, UCF. Navy would be cool.
Big picture? Yes. They are ******* ********.Well appears BigTen and ACC wI’ll not be active at this time as well. Next expansion checkpoint will be when Texas and Oklahoma leave for SEC. Anyway I think the Big12 should not expand.
Understood ?
And if you keep coming back to me, you’ll be joining some of your club members.
Stop liking your own post. Straight clown move
Because by 2025 we’ll be gone.Ummm why would anyone believe you over the actual contracts that are in place? This place is hilarious. So if Little8 adds no one then the Bug12 goes out of business in 2025. You truly are a dummy.
No one likes you...why don't you stay on the Blue Lot...You never post there but like to spread your ******** here.Nope not me you racist punk. One handle here. One handle on Lot.
The only opinion on value that matters is in the eye of the guy writing the check.Value is in the eye of the beholder. But there are new media entities wanting sports and some of those have far deeper pockets.
We will have to see.
What is the buyout for an aac team to leave?Slowpoke please ACCept the fact that AAC programs have to fork out tens of millions of dollars to leave that conference. On the other hand in 2025 the Little8 programs are free to join any conference of their choice.
What is the buyout for an aac team to leave?
27 month notice + $10 million buyout. This has been reported in multiple media outlets. But I have not read/heard what the buyout would be for leaving prior to the 27 month notice period.Thought I read around 25$-$30 mill

Let's be sure Texas and Oklahoma actually leave first. Four years is a lot of time for things to change. It seems obvious this early announcement was not part of the plan.Well….Big 12 is officially AAC 2.0.

If you aren’t in the SEC or B1G you have been left behind.
Don’t get why you try to shove some other nonsense down our throats.
Pitt has been left behind as well
